Vintage Port

Youthful and far too young to consume this beautiful wine already shows vibrant plum, anise and blackberry aromas and flavors. As expected with a vintage port only one year in bottle the alcohol and sweetness are not yet fully integrated but the great balance and long finish indicate a wonderful life ahead for this wine.

Still a baby but delicious to drink now. Rich with fruit - raspberry jam and prunes. This port engulfs the palate with a long smooth finish. I'd like to try it again in 40 years.

Still very young, with a dust feel at the end from the still undomesticated tannins. Very much like a fruit driven regular red wine. Ample body. Although advised it's too early to drink this was most enjoyable.

Glorious. Simply glorious.
