5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣🎊🍷 celebrating my 500th wine on Delectable!! I chose a Cab Franc because it’s my favorite. This is full of flavor but a little acidic. It has long lasting cherry flavor. Will pair with pork chops smothered in British brown gravy with mushrooms and asparagus, seasoned butternut squash, salad and bread. Cheers!

Jul 28th, 2018I agree with others that you have to let this one sit and open up for a while. It pours a nice purple red, big body and black currant aroma and taste. This wine has staying power so you can let it sit in the fridge a few days without it getting oxidized.

Jan 7th, 2017Opened this 2014 vintage for National Cab Franc Day. Decanted in wide bottom glass decanter. Medium Red in color. First tastes of green pepper and unripened cherry. After 30 min decant the mouth opened and to zesty raspberries and herbs. Not bad for the price point but let if open up before you write it off.
