First time with one of Michael Browne’s new wines. Reminiscent of the Cirq wines I’ve tried. Gave it two hours in the decanter. Lots of ripe fruit but not over the top. It’s got many years ahead.

Very smooth, on the full-bodied side for a Pinot. Great with lamb bolognese and ribs!

Needed some Pinot for the braised short ribs - but not the whole bottle. So we did a twofer and enjoyed the surplus while it cooked. I miss the old Cirq so this is the next best thing. Very ripe and bursting fruit. An immediate wine but not treacly or overwrought. It’s definitely a new world in your face PN but it’s never less than a treat. Also it never takes long to finish.

A nice well made wine. Didn’t know Michael Browne was the owner. Definitely worth looking into if you are a KB fan.
