Another wine from the Willamette Valley, Eola-Amity Hills. The 2016 Cherry Hill Winery Estate Pinot Noir.

The nose is very tight and muted. After letting set to try and get it to open up I am able to get notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, chocolate, spice and earth.

On the palate there are notes of cherry, cranberry, raspberry, spice and earth.

This wine is light to medium bodied with medium acidity and medium fine tannins that gives you medium to medium + red fruit earthy finish. A beautiful Saturday with great weather. I wish everyone a continued healthy and safe weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

Cherry, raspberry, tea leaf, maple syrup, stemmy spice, anise. Big cherry/blueberry jam finish. Good value.

Nice dry sour cherry. Good acid and earthy quality. Still drinking well several days later.

This wine which tastes of cherries and chocolate is our macho wine. It is elegant with fresh berry flavors, hints of caramel and spice and will mellow and improve with age. (The Olde Wine Cellar)
