Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Went in with low expectations because of the vintage, but was really surprised. The tannins are soft and rather pretty right now. Milk chocolate and plum with a little iron and raspberry.

Very fresh, very noble. Plums, blackberry, meat drippings, leather, truffle, cigar box. Not a famous vintage but this drinks so well today.

2007 blind tasting. Group 5th, my 2nd. Soooo smooth, lavender, berries, hint of cream. Tasted like merlot. Loved this wine and I thought it even got better later in the evening.

Beautiful finish

Dark and brooding with unctuous fruit and grassy notes at the end. It is perfectly balanced with soft tannins and a lingering finish.

Small taste, fruity, light and ready.

Everyone loved this wine. Great mineral finish. Earthy with great notes of black cherry, plum, and anise. Very drinkable and fantastic paired with truffle cheese and olives.

Luscious fruit, but not much else. Quaff me. 🤗

Definitely way before it's time. So earthy, but no balance. Must be more patient.
