Lovely still. A good acidic spine but fruit is settled and good. Iron, black cherry, some plum. Good stuff.

Complex aromas. Graphite, tobacco, plum, some cherry. Dusty tannins and high acid. Yummy and young.

Beautiful garnet red color shows some ages. Brett, mushrooms, truffles, dirty earthy notes, cigars, dark roast coffee, herbs, not many fruit character on the nose. Nice acidity, dusty tannins, very dry on the palate, meaty, this is the wine you can almost chew on. Still have decades to go. Pretty nice. 14% alc. 2004 vintage

Always a treat. Love the 1994's.

Vintage 2004 - I liked the wine more when it was 8 to 10 years old, it has now lost its charm of exuberant fruit, but the tertiary autumn tones are not fully developed yet. Wine is a lifetime of experiencing!

I've had this bottle multiple times with each bottle showing in different spectrums and ranges. This specific bottle was just ok as a bottle the night before was showing like a champ.

Nice, on the acidic side. Feels like Pomerol more than St Emillion
