Tobacco, dust, baked fruit, tar and cinnamon. Palate is tart raspberry, chocolate, gentle pyrazines.

Fuller an richer than the 1997 that we have drunk so much of, but not nearly as ready. Still a good claret for steak!

Bought as future: lovely, if needing even more time. Good grip.

This is awesome. Perfect, for what it is.

Great paring with lamb stew. You know It's good when you go for the decanter to pour yourself another glass and it's empty!
