Have had only a handful of first growth Sauternes in my lifetime,. This experience was remarkable. Soft butterscotch & mellow pineapple, and white flowers. A knife edge of acidity leading a dense yet lithe medium bodied mouthfeel with an aftertaste lingering forever. Tasted on own after a meal. The 15 yrs of age just deepens the layers of flavors. Wow.

Beautiful end to a beautiful video dinner party. Honey, flowers, nutty, zesty, ample mouth watering acid, looong finish. Lovely.

Monthly wine group met up and had an Italian wine night at one of the local Italian BYOB spots. Really fantastic Italian wines were brought, as well as some random bottles that were outside the theme (but worthy of opening regardless of theme).

Nothing like some killer Sauternes to finish off dinner. So perfumed. Honeyed mango, almonds, orange blossom.

Outstanding breakfast wine! Perfectly ripe peach and apricot, caramelized brown sugar. Crystallized honey. Just enough acidity to keep it fresh and balanced.

Not A ton of botrytis but enough to make it beautifully complex along with the sweet, toasty oak. Lush and long on the finish.

Great balance of sweetness with apricot honey and peach flavors. Nice way to finish off Thanksgiving
