Med-deep amber color. Ultra appealing nose with loads of sweet honey, dried apricots, maple syrup, crushed almonds and a hint of wet stones. Med+ bodied, quite oily mouthfeel, very round and intense caramel, maple syrup and hint of smoky component. This wine attacks your entire palate in an attractive way. I like this a lot despite slight bitter finish. Paired perfect with chu toro (medium fatty tuna). 375 ml. 14.5% alc. 1989 vintage
