Candied orange peel galore! Still very bright and kicking! Such a great wine to end a night. Goes well with FOIE!!! PS. It also pairs with a lemon, olive oil chiffon cake, too!

Gloriously acidic visitor to our coravin session last evening. Thought it might be a bit flabby (going by the reviews) but everything was in perfect balance. Incredibly Fragrant; a virulent golden yellow; full of nectarines and hints of other tropical fruits. It developed into one of the great timeless wines that facilitate a tendrilled connection between everyone with a glass in their hand.

Unfortunately, this 1983 turned brown. Taste is still pretty good. Dry with some sweet. Wish we opened a year or two ago,

This wine was correct and enjoyable if past its prime for me--there wasn't enough fruit or botrytis richness to balance the savory burnt caramel and metallic notes that have developed, but I still appreciate the expressive dried apricot flavors here. Fun to see the development and learn when I like this wine.
