This is a beautiful wine that's sweet but certainly not cloying. The color is deep golden and the nose offers dried apricots and honey. The sweetness is more pronounced on the palate, but a zippy acidity balances the experience perfectly. The wine finishes long and satisfyingly.

Dark color. Nose: sugar, baked peach, grilled pineapple, caramel, meringue, rum, vanilla, creme brûlée, nuts, cookies, mango, a teeny tiny bit of pine or sweet herbiness, a bit of varnish, a bit of seafood and salinity. Oh boy this smells luxurious. I could smell this all day. Palate: oh man, cooked fruit, pine, sweet, vanilla-coconut-whipped cream (the coconut part is slight). Cooked tropical fruit. Passion fruit? Some salty sea. Baked apple on the lingering finish, Nice acidity. Really good. This one is a great deal at the $14 I paid for it (even for just a half bottle!). Gonna go 94 on this one, I am going to buy more of this.
