Chateau St. Jean
Cabernet Sauvignon
Surprisingly delicious! Definitely taste the blackberry on this one. Pairing with venison tonight.

Sweet plum upfront with a thin syrupy body. Smooth, very little tannins with the tiniest bit of heat on the finish. Not much to think about but will go good with dinner.

Taste was mild tannins, not very heavy and moderate dark berries with coffee or chocolate. Would rate it good to very good but not great or outstanding.

Nov 26th, 2022No defect detected but this doesn’t really work for me. Much too young? Took quite some time to open up a bit, and left us with slightly herbaceous aromas. Medium length and concentration.
