Lovely. Tannins there for good structure. Earth and forest in a wonderful balance. Fruit not gone. Lived on as it remained open. Stronger after 4 hrs.

Sometimes mere words just can't do a wine justice - but we can try 😃. Complex, earthy, mature, elegant, layered, graphite, etc. a real treat.

One of the absolute best wines I've ever put past my lips. Dark, rich, earthy, complex. Hints of plum and spice with a very sophisticated, yet suave, tannin structure. These bottle are hard to find, but if you find one - buy it.

I invite the critics to taste this wine again. Layers and layers of flavour, massive structure and concentration. A wine to re-taste not before 10 years.

Throwback to Caudalie. Great 🎂 wine!

Our second Pessac of the evening. A magnanimous as well! So good. #freundfest2018

Good balance of tertiary forest floor, mushroom and liquorice with stewed forest fruits. Tannins soft and not much of the structure left. Definitely not worth keeping for much longer.
