We opened this and let it breathe for about 2 hours. One of the smoothest wines we’ve drank. Complex, in the best possible sense, from first sip to last. I think this is a wine best enjoyed on jts own with no food pairing.

Medium ruby in color; black cherries, plums, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like green peppercorns, eucalyptus, and blackberries with a short finish. It was much better after a hyper decant and some time in the glass. Still a bit out of balance. All structure with little fruit, but still good.
