Wine of the night for many of the eight joining me on that night.
This wine is complex, soil driven and offers a compelling balance between earth and fruit notes. Savory and long, this humble wine could take more time in the cellar but was delicious. Chapeau to regional,/'simple' country wines that over-deliver for value nearly everyday we open them.

Very red fruit driven, lush, candied fruits, a little rose petal. Easy drinking! Nègrette strong. #NewVarietal #SommLife

Rich, dark-fruited nose reminiscent of Bojo-village or Mourvèdre with an ample funkiness that's mostly band-aid brett. Call it leather or wet saddle or what have you. Nice acidity and moderate, slightly dusty tannins. A nice wine for the price and a good representation of what the region can do.
