Solid rich and dark Bordeaux, plum and leather with a bit of acidity. Paired well with smoked meats but did not fare well with chocolate. Would suggest decanting before serving to let it smooth out and balance.

Good and pleasant to drink. Rich but maybe not as complex. Bought at Mitsukoshi for ¥5,200.

Had to decant, opened up a bit after 2 hours, black cherry, tar, smoke and a touch of leather. All components subdued, intro to grand vin de bordeaux. Left me wanting something more. Looking forward to better Pauillac.
