Tasted blind. Deep dark scarlet. Opaque. Notes of black cherry, violets, cranberries, plum, kirsch and herbs. Syrupy richness in the mouth. Had that telltale Rayas signature impact, almost (but not) over the top. Guessed 90 Rayas CdP.

What a phenomenal bottle! Could not believe just how rich and deep the flavors of red and purple fruits, baking spices and leather was - especially considering the age. Velvety tannins offered a sublime mouthfeel. Don't pass this up if you get a chance to taste it.

Unfortunately there's a flaw here. Not sure what... Stinky nose but not cork taint. Maybe Brett... Some say heat damage? The fruit is good but would certainly be better if it wasn't flawed. A shame
