White Bordeaux! Can’t say why but was intrigued when I saw this on a list tonight and decided to go for it- probably first time in a couple years. Unfortunately, not that remarkable.

White Bordeaux is so under appreciated!
This ‘simple’ Graves, at 8y of age is sublime.
Medium bodied with juicy Mirabelle plum and gooseberry, slightly waxy, with a pithy, stony core underneath and a subtle note of dried mint.
Remarkably fresh, cool, poised.
A perfect food wine, that is not too flashy or demanding but accentuates and complements the dish.
Delish!
