At the beginning, a little bit of tannins but after a while it becomes very smooth with a touch of leather and cold touch on the palete.

Wonderful concentration black fruits, earth suade and dark chocolate. Ripe but really solid tannin. Perfectly balanced. My only regret is drinking it so young.

One of Delon family's finest, this is one of 3 main labels they own, next to Chateau Nenin in Pomerol, and the famed Leoville Las Cases in St. Julien. It is a beautiful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, delicate, but bright and youthful, and beautifully colored. There is an abundance of black fruits and earth on the nose, and a bit of barnyard in the form of what reminds me of the rind of cheese, or mushrooms, followed by dry crushed rocks. The pallet is balanced and elegant, exhibiting intensity in blackberries, red apple skin, dark cherries, dried herbs, and a gorgeous finish. This was a wonderful wine to be enjoyed, and one that will attest time. I can't wait to have a 2010 in another 5-10 years.
Cheers!

My word, what a lovely Bordeaux.. if I was blinding this, I'd almost guess Margaux, if it weren't for the chewy tannins. Beautiful aromatics of lavender, wildflowers, and fresh red berries.. silky and elegant mouthfeel with some raspberry, currant, and chalky mineral notes.. this drinks WAY over it's pricepoint. A well deserved 93 from Suckling.

Medium ruby quite bright ruby rim , quite big tears. Quite high toned nose , quite sweet , floral , meaty , touch of rubber , more red fruit notes . On the palate a bit more controlled , but still quite sweet , fed fruits dominating , ok balanced acidity but quite high alcohol. Rounded medium , slightly gritty tannins , and ok length . This is a bit heavy and ponderous overall, drink now and over the 5 -8 years or so. Was expecting a little more from this

Solid Bordeaux tasting of stewed prunes, and of the perfect age. Deep and intense flavor, perfect for steak.

This is still quite deep in colour a light ruby , pink rim. Quite reserved on the nose , but with cassis , coffee , cool dark fruits, there is also a touch of spice. On the palate there is a nice balancing acidity , cool dark fruits , the tannins are fine and present but also ripe . The alcohol is quite warming however. But the finish is refined and reasonably long . Good to drink from now and over the next 5-7 years I would imagine.
