Château Potensac
Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Served at room temp, which was off-putting from the start. Very typical Bdx profile with understated oak and fruits on the nose. Mid-palate offers softish tannins and moderate acidity. Finishes with length. Drink em if you have em. Represents good value from this region.

The color is a dark ruby red to dark plum. A very nice nose gives up currants, raisins and black raspberries. The mouth feel is a medium to full bodied with nice tannins. Good black cherries and vegetal notes come through and wet soil. I really like this Bordeaux and feel it is ready now, but can have another 10-12 years in bottle to help smooth out the tannins even though I like them now. This is 42% Merlot, 40% Cabernet, and 18% Cabernet Franc. VERY NICE!
