Love the palate with dark berries, a touch of spices, graphite, cassis, some animal nuances, and gravel. Long and lingering finish. A bit depressing to start but builds up with some air and truly opens up. Drink till 2023.

The nose on this wine is incredible. Red cherry, black cherry, cassis, plum, violet, baking spices. M body, acid and tannin. Balanced, elegant. Everything is so well integrated. A true classic at a decent price.

Wow. This 94 cab is just off the charts tonight. Great balance, discipline, length. I doubt many trophies are drinking any better.

Happy Father's Day 2017, drinking a delicious 2005 with a great meal. Wow, great balance of fruit and balance of dryness. 12 years has done this bottle well.
