Dark ruby color. Lovely aromas of cigar box, leather and blue/black berries. Dark berries on the palate with notes of tobacco, dark chocolate, sweet spices and leather. Touch of mineral on the long and lingering finish. Tannins are quite firm and the wine is beautifully balanced. Powerful yet elegant. Thank you for sharing, Keith S! Revisited in March 2024.

Dry and spicy. Currant, blackberry and oak. Light body for the region. Really nice once it breathes.

Starts nice and fruity but finishes short and with a bite. Lots of bitter tannins that linger unpleasantly. Did not improve in the hour plus that it sat out. Maybe it needs age.
