Dark ruby color. Lovely aromas of cigar box, leather and blue/black berries. Dark berries on the palate with notes of tobacco, dark chocolate, sweet spices and leather. Starts nice and fruity but finishes short and with a bite. Lots of bitter tannins that linger unpleasantly. Did not improve in the hour plus that it sat out. Maybe it needs age.
