Im not sure of the final cepage but his exhibits a distinct, grainy, black fruit character that seems more CS or PV than Merlot which is listed first on the back. This feels gravelly, as bordeaux is want to do, firm, dry, but with a suave texture after 10 yrs of bottle age. Not a lot of fat on the bones so this is for old world afficiandos or celebrating bitter disappointments.

Aug 6th, 2019Solid value. Plenty of red fruit, tobacco, black pepper, blackberry, and cedar. Second glass is better — it’s pretty young and needed time to open up. Paired well with a ribeye.

Nov 27th, 2022Excellent wine especially for the price. Oak and jammy nose and a bit of a subdued spicy thing…. Body seems med-full - taste is juicy but with a bit of depth though not super complex - tannins in nice balance.. maybe it’s my mood but je dig.

May 28th, 2022Easy, accessible and pleasant Big French red. Decanted this one for a bit and paired with a hearty steak dinner - great tobacco strong finish notes on a traditional big, but easy to enjoy Bordeaux. Cheers!

Dec 12th, 2019Not overly familiar with Medoc. Smells fruitier and more complex that it tastes. Fruity at first and then falls short. Tannin. Acid. It is nice but not complex.
