Château Pierre-Bise
Sur Spilite Anjou Gamay
Dense, pure, green, dark, brooding. Sick nose. Hot, dilute so far and huge tannins. But it Is all there. This usually needs 2-3 days to open.

Dec 26th, 2015Terrific, ripe fruit, cooling earth/menthol tones. Nice acidity and very forward. 50 cab Franc/Cab S. A bit of heat keeps this from being great.

Jun 28th, 2015Dark, dense wine with lots of plum and green pepper. Dusty minerality and black licorice too. Big and chewy on the palate, seems quite modern in style. Satisfyingly delicious.
