Excellent with grilled lamb chops
Decanted 1 hour.
On the nose blackberry, plum, and a touch of soil. On the palate blackberry, raspberry, cedar, leather, and hints of earth. Very well balanced with medium, well integrated tannins. Long finish with black fruit, soil and wood. I don't see this getting much better. Drink now and over the next 5 years. Delicious!

Still wound very tight. Can use a good long decant, or better yet, a few more years in the bottle. Cedar, eucalyptus, a little bit of leather. Fresh.

Short decant and needed more as it’s very young. Cherries, cedar, and ample oak on the nose. Wine has medium depth and medium tannins. Cherries dominate the palate with some pumpkin spice. Medium minus finish. Overall solid every day wine that is more New World than old.

I bought this on sale for about $34. I’m not too impressed, considering how long we’ve saved it. Bland, red wine flavors. Basically similar to two buck chuck.
