Light on tannins, earthy. Needs to breathe, softens taste. Curious on palette change if paired

My first Bordeaux Rouge 2016! Not bad😀

Blackcurrant and burnt toffee aroma. Mineral and tobacco flavours, with very little fruit on first opening (despite decanting for three hours); on the second day lots of cherry appeared. Soft tannin and acidity. Wouldn't be surprised if it benefited from a few years more.

Great blend. Smooth. Mild tannins, medium body. Berry Smoky tobacco.

Tried 2010, 2011 and 2012 all great wines

2010 musty earthy nose with plums. Firm tannin. Mouthfilling.

Delicious, everything is balanced. Very smooth finish.

Superbly smooth. Great with BBQ steak!
