Good solid Bordeaux. I mean it’s hard when so many people are trying to find something unique or interesting or a subtle twist on this or that flavor. But when you get something that’s unapologetically and obviously made by somebody who just enjoys making good Bordeaux it stands out. Depths of ripe and savory flavors, all sorts expression of earth and cooked berry and subtle hints of herbs and flowers. Definitely enjoyed every sip.

Rich, decadent, almost overpowering. This is such a dense and concentrated wine that it almost defies drinking. This is not something you can just drink by itself. It is not light and quaffable. This is something you must have with food. Even after two days of being opened, it was just smack you in the mouth full of Rich and stewed fruits, intense flavors of candied, violets and sugar plums. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
