From almost 110 year old Grenache vines this is so epic. What a nose. Raspberry coulis, huge stones, even mandarin orange, very stoney and complex. Insane spice. Flowers as well. Super aromatic. Wonderful purity and freshness with stunning balance. Juicy and crackling. Very fresh. Beautiful tannins. Big raspberry and cherry fruit. Almost cassis. For such a large wine this is quite nimble. This is so massive and pumps out the fruit and tannins and stones. Just awesome. For Grenache it’s hard to get better in Gigondas. — 6 years ago

Good solid Bordeaux. I mean it’s hard when so many people are trying to find something unique or interesting or a subtle twist on this or that flavor. But when you get something that’s unapologetically and obviously made by somebody who just enjoys making good Bordeaux it stands out. Depths of ripe and savory flavors, all sorts expression of earth and cooked berry and subtle hints of herbs and flowers. Definitely enjoyed every sip. — a month ago
