Château Palene
Red Bordeaux Blend
My first advent calendar wine from France. Not sure if this is the correct wine though. It’s delicious! Full body with lots of dark fruit.

May 22nd, 2021Medium bodied, good legs, delicate heady scent... Plum and cherry and oak. 50% Merlot, 40% Cab, 10% Can Franc. Decanted for 30 minutes before trying it. A little tart at first, then immediately mellow, with a nice tannic finish. Having with almonds turkey, blackberries and prosciutto.
