Mar 6th, 2015Fan-friggin-tastic, smells of minty clove and graphite with bright berry undertones. In the mouth, dried orange peel, sour cherry, plum, and a sweet minty finish.

Feb 6th, 2015The weakest of the 3 on the right. Very roasted and super (over) ripe notes . Ok length but probably would have been better a few years ago. A special wine for me and a treat as I believe this was the first wine of which I bought a case sometime during 1999! Many thanks Eckhard and Wendy for a great evening !

Feb 12th, 2018Decanted, but really needed more time. Hints of greatness, but this bottle had a faint mustiness on the palate, which was too bad.

Feb 12th, 2016This bottle's cork was shot and a third of the bottle had leaked out in the cellar so expected it to be done for. Interestingly still pretty, bright acidity and very nice middle. Smells awful though that's for sure. A bottle in good shape would probably still be very exciting.
