Second of my two birthday wines from Jill. The cork disintegrated on opening and showed seepage from top to bottom, but the wine itself was well kept. I was surprised at how much fruit remained.

1976 Mouton-Rothschild. A little tired. Not a lot of fruit on the nose or palate but still a solid First Growth Bordeaux rouge.
