Perfect. So smooth, so elegant, so rich. Nearly black. Leather, chocolate, blackberries. Woody nose accompanied by leather. Fourteen years old but no sign of vinegar or other faults and color changes. The tannins are perfectly smooth at this point leaving a chewy potent finish. Powerful yet not overwhelming red wine that went perfectly with my Trofie with short rib in Chianti sauce. If you can find it, buy it.
