Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Starts with a spicy nose followed by a sweet one, round, fruity mouthfeel, soft but also intense. Long fruity finish. Superb effort! Bravo 👏

Upgraded her to 91 compared to my previous notes since the nose opened up and clearly a positive evolution in the last year. A rough diamond with some edges but certainly no sharp ones anymore...

Somewhat closed on the nose, but wonderfull in the mouth. Spicy, light bitter and sweet, long finish. Some hints of cola at the end? Just entering her drinking window...

Raisins and cherry. Finish is spice and sweetness. Good. 9,50€ a glass

2012 was considered an exceptional year in the region. This wine will definitely improve with age. Recommend that it be cellared and drink the Lirac now instead.

#3 of the tasting. Not overly fruity or hot, very well balanced fruit and acid. Very good texture also.
