Last bottle, perhaps the best to date... Maybe it just needed a few years in rest? I'm still trying to get a good read on what rosé we can lay down and have success with, outside of Cotat stuff.

Friday night Tanglewood wine with the BSO playing some Bernstein & Tchaikovsky, Jean-Yves Thibaudet on piano!

So Celebrity Rosé... Two of the most favorite words ever uttered by Lyle Fass.

I always thought this had good Provence fruit (Thank you Perrin's) at a reasonable price. I'm in the dislike camp on the bottle shape, it doesn't fit any place well, except the recycle bin.

Crisp, light and refreshing. Notes of cherries, strawberries and flowers. Tones of minerals are well balanced with the fruit.

2013 Miraval from Perrin family and Pitt-Jolie really is very good.

Enjoying this more than expected. Nice fruit up front, but not a fan of the sour finish. But it's going down quicker than I probably should be drinking it.

Dry, tart green apple and strawberry essence. Tasty, but timid. Good for guzzling on a hot day.

Not bad. Not as good as some SB rosés. But expected less.

2014 vintage. A pleasant and delightful Rose. Nothing extraordinary, but pretty classic Provence.

Out of sheer curiosity...I couldn't resist trying Brangelina's rosé. It was better than I expected, to be honest. Overall I find rosés lacking in flavor - I prefer a Sauvignon Blanc or Sancerre if I'm going for something refreshing. This had a great citrus and floral nose, and seemed promising - the flavor didn't deliver what the nose promised, however. There was a lot of orange peel in the finish which also made it a little bitter, unfortunately. Overall, though, I would drink it before many other rosés I've had.
