Surprisingly tasty Cotes de Blaye at $8. Hints of blueberry, raspberry, and pie spice. Soft tannins and light but balancing acidity. This would be a great introduction to Bordeaux on the cheap. For those who are jaded with overly fruity, soft Merlot, they should give this a go. 80% Merlot, 20% Cab. Trader Joe's.
