Lots of sediment and rough tannin so it needs a decant and it opened up nicely. Dried cranberry and currant, dirt, tobacco, and pencil shavings, still very fresh.

taste. spicy. round. medium bodied. crushed pepper. oak. medium plus acid

very nice and enjoyable. ages well and drank in 2016.
