2005 vintage. Smooth tannins with age. Black cassis, graphite, medium body and acidity.

We had the 2005 Vintage on 12/27-28/16. Really good with a dark Ruby color. A floral and graphite bouquet. Dark fruit on the palate. A smooth fruity finish to this medium bodied wine.

Even after a long decant, this wine simply isn't ready yet. The nose tells of promised aromatics to come, but the palate is still relatively simple. I'll hold my other bottle for several years, I think.

Tight. Looking forward to it opening up. Still too young.

Silky and rich, this is still peaking with a long life ahead

Nothing special. Serviceable with food. Not enjoyable alone.
