Château Maris
Le Carignane de Maris
Wild fruit, Boysenberry, bright wet herbs, iron minerality, approachable tannin, great acid and a long cherry finish. Really nice. Had with homemade meatloaf last night, now time for an oven toasted meatloaf sandwich for lunch today. Organic wine.

Sep 30th, 2018Awesome recommendation by Robert at Vine Box. Great value under $14. Biodynamic. Let it open up for a bit. Juicy, fresh red fruits. Dry. Little chalky. Little Grenache in the mix.

Jan 4th, 2015France. Red. Languedoc-Roussillon.
Very good blackberry nose, black pepper. Not as much depth from other reds in this region but way more than new world wines I’ve tried. Great with pizza. A really easy to please wine. Not super memorable but pleasantly juicy. Would buy again. Under $13. Carignan grapes. 13% alc by vol.
