2011. Very dark garnet color. Aromas of ripened fruit. Layered flavors including an initial tartness quickly going to a dry woodiness then a long finish of plum with some bitterness. This is hard to describe and not exactly enjoyable.

For the price point, this wine is surprisingly tasty. I am especially fond of the peppery notes.
