Still in need of further cellaring or an extended decant. Seductive dark berry notes though with nice bitter chocolate and espresso bean notes too.

Solid and very pretty and feminine for Bordeaux. Def showing the weak vintage. A very good but not sublime Margaux and def approachable today.

Grassy, earthy, a lot of funk and great year for Margaux. Solid year to drink now or lay down.

Had this back-to-back with the 02 CCB. Bouncing from the Franc to the Sauvignon was kind of like getting off a crazy MV Augusta test ride and back on to your reliable, familiar, well worn BMW R. You love that R. But my god the MV....
