Short decant...Deep plum, forest floor, black berry, cedar bark, a hint of peppercorn. Green bell pepper and eucalyptus are highlighted to. Plush on the palate with generous berry fruit, well balanced, stands up well with ribeye steak. Moderate finish. High quality fruit but a touch thin and shorter than desired.

First sip made me think I opened too early. But then POW! This baby opens up. One of the most powerful Bordeaux’s I’ve had. Can taste the Cab. Half bottle. Get more!

Wine with great initial plum aromas and crushed strawberries with hints of cedar that slowly become more pronounced. As it breathes you get great smoky aromas. The palate itself has good acidity with moderate tannins and touches of plums, tobacco, rich red fruit and overall a great succulent flavor.

Heavy barnyard funk upon opening, but after 20-30 min. of decanting this wine is firing on all cylinders. On the nose vibrant dark fruits, cool menthol, and sage. On the palate silky smooth, well-integrated tannins with savory earth and juicy, ripe dark fruits. Delicious; would love to see it in 10 years.

Solid. Full-bodied with black cherry notes and a nice leathery finish. This one might also be worth revisiting in a few years

Solid, dusty, with tart cherry; firm grip. Good finish but not the lathery type, a bit sharp
