Showing strong 💪🏽 for an ‘06. Polish and depth. Plum, fig, grainy tannins and a thread of menthol/herbal notes.

Incredible Saint Julien producer; never disappointing! Structured power, but smooth from first contact to last vapors.

Had from magnum. Tannins well integrated. Totally ready to drink. Less fruit than I would prefer. Little green to me. Just OK.

Starting to show secondary character, good structure, tannins still astringent.

Aroma can be felt even far from the glass. Very gentle and quite elegant. 2006, but still solid, need decanting in decanter for 2 hours. Balanced aroma including oak, leather, fruity with black currant and fruits etc. Quite calm. Great wine! Mid between Margaux and Pauillac @3360, tatong - XH , 190301-190424
