Perfect bottle that was probably at its peak. Needed an hour of decanting to unleash the violets and the red fruit in the background. Good and enjoyable but not great.

Comes straight into the 2023 wine tasting chart at #1
Perfect out of the bottle: rich, deep concentration, yet smooth and long lasting taste, dark fruits, dark chocolate……top notch! Oh, restaurant (with view) not too shabby either 🤩

Underrated which isn’t a bad thing necessarily. Aged well with the tannins fully integrated. A bit of tobacco, mocha as well as some spice. Core of black fruit very much present.
