Red Bordeaux Blend

2015 vintage - smooth delicious

 2016 opened November 2023. Not a very interesting wine. Pomegranates and briars on the nose. Minimal amount of red fruit on the front. Light tannic structure that’s inoffensive, but it doesn’t add much to the character of the wine. Short finish with a few sparkles of high notes.

Nice dry, medium. Decant first

Color of ruby and purple. Nose of fermented cabbage, cherry jam, a bit tobacco leaves, a bit menthol, a bit spice, and indeed more fermented cabbage. Taste is pretty good with good tannins, oak, juicy grapes note, subtle sweetness form dark fruits, zest, and a bit mineral, spice, balanced and clean. Aftertaste is pretty long and savory, with some more grape notes, a bit peppery, zest, rose, a bit cinnamon, and subtle sweet note. Quite tasty.

Delicious, savory #entredeuxmers Bordeaux. Luxurious nose with notes of smoked meat, black pepper, mushroom, forest floor and a firm foundation of bramble fruit. Lovely balance featuring fresh acidity with coffee and well integrated tannins that trail off into the sunset. #wsjwineclub
