Château Le Gay
Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend
Initially a balsamic note that blew off. Cedar and beet greens, tobacco and weathered, dry, dead tree and rum-soaked cherry greet the nose. Elegant mouthfeel with pronounced tar and burnt toast over black currant and Kalamata olives, prune, black sands, red cherry, and blackberry. Chewy, delicious and a sure sign Halloween is in the air!

Sep 2nd, 2015Light, fruit forward style of Bordeaux. Red currant, spice and mushroom nose. Black cherry and earthy notes, more spice and ash on the palate - noticeable legs, mellow tannins, easy drinking. Try with a really good wheat bread and a soft cheese.

Jan 27th, 2016Initial bread with butter scent followed my nice notes of cedar and raspberry. Very nice.
