Decanted for two hours appeared to be the optimal time, as the bottle(s) were fantastic with ripe black cherry, plum and tobacco leaves. Very smooth tannins with firm structure.

Game, tar, very savory, still very vibrant on the palate, very drinkable, not just a curiosity.

Sublime elegance. Profound experience. Drinking beautifully and solid to last a good while.

Tell tail tobacco , cassis , violets, minerals , lead pencil , fig wonderful balance and power. A rich Haut Brion that shows a trace of alcohol on finish but a lovely bottle.

Dried tart black cherry, saddle leather, red meat, slight saline and tercerary notes. Lift still present. From 30 yr. same cellar.

Blanc. Incredibly young. Color - diluted Rose's lime juice. Lots of acid and tartness. Sharp. Needs air and seems likely to continue to improve.

Very good-needs a couple of hours of air, pretty disjointed in the beginning, but a fun wine.

Open and classic and fully mature, but also not so complex.
