Oct 29th, 2016Not the greatest of Bordeaux vintages (I remember a lot of rain!) but the great Chateaux made less and made it well. 21 years on, this wine has all the hallmarks of the greatest Clarets. Incredible concentration despite a moderate 12.5% alc. and incredible youth & fresh activist too. A rare joy.

Jun 21st, 2015Behaves quite nicely although a bit austere. Don't know the condition of the vintage but I will bet for a late ripening, rainy September one. A bit harsh and green, this bottle was a monastically executed Latour. Cold and no fun. Austere but in a good way. Like Willy Wonka's dad in the movie.......
