Soft at first sip. Body builds on pallet as time lingers. Very good Bordeaux for the money. $50 on this restaurant list makes it seem like a steal. Could be the restaurant wants to move wine. While list is very affordable.

Round soft tannins, coat the mouth, big acidity. Light body, a little thin. Wet earth, prune, vanilla, and quite spicy. Low fruit flavor. pair with tartare salmon

Full bodied with red fruit, cherry, raspberry, oak, and slight earthy notes. Very silky and smooth. 2012 is still a bit young, but the second vintage of Château Lascombes is a must try!

Dark, almost black in color and the intensity of fruit is thus unsurprising. Grippy tannins, tar, tobacco are all present in abundance. Intense, long finish. Yearns for red meat.
