Beautiful yellow golden color. Aromas of muted lemon, sweet apricot, still pretty fresh and fruity.
Mouth is flinty, nice amount of acidity, some fattiness, but balanced. Short mouth feel. Long finish. Flinty, pear, honeydew.

Powerful nose of dried lavender, white pepper, spice, licorice, and eucalyptus.
Full mouth, bright acidity, tannins have softened and are well integrated, but still very lovely. Mouth of black cherry, unripe strawberry, cedar, and some dark chocolate.
Some signs of aging, but very little. Still very powerful in flavor after 14 years — 9 years ago

Mouth has some lovely minerality and freshness, white pepper and raspberry leaf. Persistent finish. Tannin and acidity are well integrated. Great time to drink. Don't think it could age much more. drinking the 2004. — 8 years ago
