Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend

Tasted blind. Older tawny color, opaque. Fruit and cedar wood nose. Nice structure. Not a lot of fruit in the mouth and the structure was lacking, although it came on with more air. Nice overall and, more Lafite-like later in the evening as air gave it some additional complexity. Well made for the vintage. Guessed off vintage 80s Bordeaux.

Incredibly austere with horrible green notes. Very bitter. No fruit left here. 2 bottles opened. Both shot. #lafite #bordeaux #firstgrowthbordeaux

Found this gem in the cellar....Still a lot of life left in it. Decent fruit plus cigar box, meat, and a lot of minerality. Nothing like a 35 year old Bordeaux

Outstanding ! It was perfect! It had every flavor in the wine. Fruits, wood,nail, spices, meat. The cork was in perfect conditions. I really enjoyed it!!!
